Connect Claude to Your Website in 5 Simple Steps

Use any AI to create beautiful WordPress pages — no coding required.

Whether you use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any other AI, you can create polished, professional WordPress content in minutes. This guide shows you how — starting with the basics that work for everyone.

The Universal Method (Works for Any WordPress Site)

Here’s the secret: AI tools can generate complete, styled content that you simply copy and paste into WordPress. No design skills needed.

Step 1: Ask AI for What You Want

Use any AI tool (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini — they all work). The key is how you ask:

The Magic Phrase:

"Give me this as HTML5 with CSS styling at the top."

For example: “Create a blog post about gut health basics for my nutrition practice. Give me this as HTML5 with CSS styling at the top.”

The AI will give you a “unified file” — all the styling (CSS) and content (HTML) together in one block of code.

Step 2: Paste Into WordPress

  1. In WordPress, add a Custom HTML block (found under Widgets in the block inserter)
  2. Copy the entire output from your AI — CSS and HTML together
  3. Paste it into the Custom HTML block
  4. Preview your page — done!
💡 Pro Tip: Want to make quick text changes later? You can edit the text directly in the HTML — just look for the words between the <p> or <h2> tags and type over them.

Step 3: Save Your Work

Before making big changes, save a backup of your code:

  1. Copy everything in your Custom HTML block
  2. Paste it into a Google Doc or Apple Note
  3. Add a note like: “Version before Dec 19 — before I changed the header”

WordPress has a “Revisions” feature in the sidebar, but honestly? Saving your own versions is faster and easier to work with.

✓ That’s it! You now know how to create beautiful WordPress content with AI.

Want AI to Make Changes for You?

Once you have styled content on your page, you can always go back to AI to update it:

  1. Copy your current HTML from WordPress
  2. Paste it into your AI chat and say: “Here’s my current page. Please change [whatever you want] and give me the updated HTML5 with CSS at the top.”
  3. Copy the new output back into WordPress

This works great for design changes, adding sections, or restructuring content.

Where Else Can You Use This?

The “unified HTML5 + CSS” approach works anywhere that accepts raw HTML:

  • Custom HTML blocks in WordPress (Gutenberg)
  • Email templates — paste into FluentCRM’s Raw HTML editor
  • Landing pages — works in most page builders
  • Newsletters — many email platforms accept raw HTML
